OVERVIEW: Boca West Country Club, renowned for its luxurious amenities and high standards of maintenance, is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electrician to join our Engineering Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, inspecting, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems and equipment throughout the club's facilities. This role is critical in ensuring the safety, efficiency, and reliability of all electrical infrastructure, supporting the club's commitment to excellence in service and operations.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Electrical System Maintenance & Repair:

• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical systems, including wiring, circuit breakers, panels, lighting, motors, and control systems.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues promptly, providing effective repairs to minimize downtime.
• Repair or replace faulty wiring, switches, outlets, lighting fixtures, and electrical equipment as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections.

Installation & Upgrades:

• Install new electrical systems, fixtures, and equipment in accordance with electrical codes, safety standards, and project specifications.
• Assist in planning and executing electrical upgrades and renovations to enhance facility safety and efficiency.
• Coordinate with contractors and vendors for specialized electrical work or large-scale projects.

Safety & Compliance:

• Ensure all electrical work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes and safety standards.
• Follow proper lockout/tagout procedures and safety protocols during all maintenance and repair activities.
• Conduct safety audits and participate in safety training sessions to promote a safe working environment.

Emergency Response & Support:

• Respond to emergency electrical issues promptly to minimize disruption to club operations.
• Assist with the setup and troubleshooting of electrical systems during special events, tournaments, and functions.

Equipment & Inventory Management:

• Maintain an inventory of electrical parts, tools, and supplies, and assist with ordering as needed.
• Ensure all tools and equipment are properly maintained and stored in accordance with safety standards.

Collaboration & Communication:

• Work closely with the Engineering team and other departments to coordinate maintenance activities.
• Communicate clearly with management regarding work progress, safety concerns, and project timelines.
• Support the department in implementing new systems and technology upgrades.
