Low Voltage​/ControlTechnician

General Manager at HT-Install, Inc.

Job Summary: Works with other installers and independently, in the completion of installations and service calls. Responsible for timely completion of daily tasks, pictures, and notes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ability to use hand and power tools.

Develop and maintain proficiency in the following areas:

• Leadership:
  Lead jobs – ability to lead, train & follow‑up. Minimum project manager oversight needed.
• Knowledge:
  Advanced knowledge of all Low Voltage systems.
• Network:
  Advanced configuration and troubleshooting mastery. Deep understanding of topology and interactions between components.
• Programming with or without integration to Control4 or  Complete a C4/OvrC takeover knowledgeably.
• Advanced Systems
  • CCTV Systems – Advanced Systems
  • Alarm Systems – Advanced Systems
  • Audio setups – Advanced Systems
  • Video systems: televisions & related equipment, projectors
  • Access Control systems
  • Shade wiring and troubleshooting
  • Lighting:
    Lutron & C4
• Sales:
  Able to make educated suggestions to the customer coupled with convincing reasoning. Seizes opportunity. Does not oversell. Builds detailed proposals that are technologically feasible and follow HT Best Practice for Proper Proposals.
• Certifications: PCNA & Control4 Programmer is required.
