Overview

Responsible for assisting the management team (Captain, First Mates, and Second Mates) in driving sales through exceptional customer service. Ensures the customer experience, supports our brand promise ("Every Day Should Feel This Good") and makes service a top priority.

Functions & Responsibilities
  • Meet performance goals and measures
  • Develop and maintain relationships with top customers
  • Support in‑store event sourcing and execution
  • Customer Experience
    • Ensure the store reflects Shep & Ian’s vision of "Every Day Should Feel This Good" to customers through "Hosting the Party"
    • Lead the store in email capture and educate new associates on best practices
    • Maintain current customer wish lists and notify customers when products arrive
  • Crew Development
    • Assist with training new associates
    • Foster a welcoming, fun, encouraging, and energetic crew and customer environment
    • Recruit and refer top talent for store teams
    • Support store and team‑building activities with management
  • Operations
    • Maintain loss‑prevention awareness at all times
    • Keep a clean and tidy store environment
    • Maintain merchandising per company standards, current compass (floor‑set), and brand initiatives
    • Contribute to weekly product feedback
Requirements

  • Creative, adaptable, entrepreneurial and driven by integrity
