Golf Retail Assistant

Woodfield Country Club in Boca Raton is seeking a Golf Retail Assistant responsible for the overall appearance of the golf pro shop as well as providing outstanding customer service to our members and guests. Our Retail Assistant supports our Golf Professional Staff with all activities relating to the operation of the Club's golf program, in particular the retail concession and presentation of the Golf Shop.

A minimum of 2 years prior experience in retail apparel and/or sporting goods experience is required. This position requires a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.

Position Essentials:

* Must be able to handle a fast-paced, high-end, busy and sophisticated environment, have good listening skills as well as the ability to initiate conversation.

* Pay strong attention to detail, strong follow through with tasks, and consistent performance.

* Greet Members and Guests by their name and serves as the first contact to their day at the club, showcasing a knowledge of expected service at a private club.

* Assist with merchandising displays and golf shop presentation and make sure proper inventory levels are maintained.

* Assist in the running of smooth and accurate inventories at the end of each month

* Assist in creating appealing visual displays to enhance sales at all retail shops

* Assist with golf shop phone calls, emails, marketing & communications.

* Works alongside Golf Professional Staff to continuously provide high-quality member services with purchases, special orders, event registration, and tee-time management.

* Performs other appropriate tasks assigned by the Director of Golf.

REQUIREMENTS

* 2-3 years retail apparel and/or sporting goods experience.

* Available to work weekends and holidays

* Exceptional communication and hospitality skills
