Golf Café Attendant

Woodfield Country Club is looking for an energetic Golf Café Attendant to service our busy "Sandwedges" food and beverage outlet. The Sandwedges Attendant oversees setting up, maintenance and clearing of dining area so that the restaurant can open on time and be maintained to the highest standards. Ensure the members are informed of daily specials and current/future events. The Attendant serves members in a professional, friendly, courteous, and timely manner.

Candidates must have strong communication and multi-tasking skills. Must be available to work flexible, morning-afternoon hours, including the availability to work weekends & holidays.

Operates golf course café (“Sandwedges”) by performing the following duties.

• Performs daily operation by preparing café when Sandwedges opens for service.
• Interacts with and greets members upon their arrival.
• Assembles orders listed on the ticket, including all dressings, sauces and other condiments standard with certain orders.
• Ensures the accuracy of all orders, in‑house and to‑go, by double‑checking the ticket (special care for standard and requested condiments, etc).
• Maintains highest levels of cleanliness and sanitation for tables, seats, back of house, floors, counters, beverage stations, smallwares, equipment, restrooms, and surrounding area.
• Inventory daily par level and complete food and beverage requisition sheet. Calls the orders to kitchen one day in advance and picks up on the following day of business.
• Administers daily closing reports and distributes to the appropriate department heads.
• Answers the telephone and takes food/beverage orders utilizing menu knowledge.
• Prepares alcoholic and non‑alcoholic beverages, salads, sandwiches, and other short‑order items according to club standards and recipes.
• Checks and samples all food items before service to ensure freshness and proper seasoning.

• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• JONAS experience.
• Some knowledge of golf is a plus.
• High School Diploma.
