NM Cafe - Server​/Waitstaff

Position: NM Cafe - Server / Waitstaff
* ** Serves assigned seating section of dining area in a professional and gracious manner**
* ** Utilizes thorough knowledge of food, including preparation and culinary terminology, to provide detailed information to customers about menu items**
* ** Leverages knowledge of wine, beer, and spirits, including technical and service procedures**
* ** Interacts graciously with the public and handles multiple duties at the same time**
* ** Participates in daily pre-shift meeting**
* ** Adheres to established accounting procedures for all transactions, including all authorized methods of payment, and maintains knowledge of the POS system**
* ** Executes pre-shift, post-shift, and daily and weekly duties as assigned by supervisor**
* ** Fulfills duties that may involve lifting objects (e.g., tables, chairs, highchairs, etc.)**
* ** Cleans and maintains restaurant and workstation**
* ** Maintains the highest level of hygiene standards to include, but not limited to:**
* ** Clean, pressed uniform jacket and accompanying clothing and shoes**
* ** Clean and professionally styled hair and nails, maintained to avoid food contamination risks**
* ** Exercises integrity with scheduling**
* ** Punches in before and out after every scheduled shift**
* ** Follows established procedure for schedule and shift changes**
* ** Takes appropriate lunch breaks when applicable, punching accordingly**
* ** Coordinates holiday, vacation, and any time off with management while considering the needs of the restaurant**
* ** High School diploma or GED preferred**
* ** Experience in serving food and beverage and following proper table service guidelines**
* ** Ability to work autonomously**
* ** Motivated and results-driven**
* ** Thorough knowledge of order of service and proper placement of table settings (e.g., china, glass, flatware), food, and beverage as indicated by the kitchen ticket and the guidebook**
* ** Thorough knowledge of food, including preparation and culinary terminology**
* ** Ability to interact graciously with the public and handle multiple duties at the same time**
* ** Exceptional customer service and problem-solving skills*** **"Win together" mentality**
* ** Role requires standing, bending, climbing stairs, and lifting and carrying 35 pounds**
