Principal Scientist, Analytical Development – Boca Raton, FL
ADMA Biologics is a biopharmaceutical company focused on creating superior products for immunodeficient patients at risk for infection. We are seeking a Principal Scientist, Analytical Development to support the development of protein purification processes.
ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities include:
- Provide strong technical guidance to projects and mentoring to team members.
- Independently manage, design, and analyze experiments to meet project goals on time.
- Prepare, execute, and complete protocols and reports for assay development, qualification, validation, and verifications.
- Participate in Quality and Change Review Boards.
- Technically transfer assays to other departments.
- Serve as a technical expert in assay development and troubleshooting.
- Be a subject matter expert across a range of functional and immunological assays.
- Draft SOPs and maintain knowledge of current QC assays with suggestions for improvement.
- Maintain strict adherence to GMP documentation practices.
- Review the reports and work of other scientists on the team and collaborate effectively.
- Maintain knowledge of regulatory guidelines pertaining to assay development/qualification/validation.
Education Requirements:
- Master’s degree or PhD in biochemistry, chemical engineering, biophysics, biology or related discipline.
- Bachelor's degree with 20 years of process development experience.
Experience Requirements:
- 10+ years of assay development experience.
- 5 years of experience in a GMP environment.
