Nurse Director of Psychiatric Services, Behavioral Health, RN, BSN, MSN
We are seeking an experienced Nurse Director of Psychiatric Services for a facility located in beautiful Florida. The role involves directing and evaluating patient care activities within an acute care psychiatric setting serving adults (ages 18 and older, including young adults and geriatric patients).
Responsibilities- Lead and motivate professional and ancillary staff to develop practice, knowledge and skill base.
- Coordinate with healthcare team members to ensure quality patient care.
- Maintain extensive knowledge of Baker Act law, EMTALA regulations and other state and federal laws.
- Direct and evaluate patient care activities occurring within the facility.
- MSN degree.
- BLS and CPI certification.
- Minimum 5 years of mental health management experience as Director or Manager, with a strong track record in adult populations (18+ years, including young adults and geriatric patients).
- Proven leadership and accomplishment record with steady work history.
- Strong experience with all age populations 18 years or older.
