We are seeking a motivated and organized individual to provide assistance to ministry directors in our Groups, Discipleship, and Outreach departments. This role is essential in helping us stay connected, organized, and equipped to serve our church well. You’ll take ownership of systems and processes that keep our ministries organized and work closely with a collaborative staff team who values communication, clarity, and shared ministry.
This role is ideal for someone who:
- Finds fulfillment in creating order, structure, and processes that help a ministry operate smoothly
- Is dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing a variety of tasks throughout the week.
- Has a heart for helping people in the church feel connected and supported.
- Maintain group-related calendars and coordinate logistics related to recurring group activities.
- Help streamline workflows to increase efficiency and clarity.
- Keep records and databases accurate and up to date.
- Serve as a communication link between group leaders and staff.
- Keep group spaces organized and well-supplied.
- Monitor and restock materials to support group activities.
- Provide warm, helpful support to leaders, volunteers, and participants.
- Provide general assistance to ministry directors and broader ministry teams.
- Contribute to new initiatives, projects, and processes as needed.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, timelines, and priorities effectively.
- Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with standard computer applications and digital office tools.
- Ability to learn and navigate church management systems or database tools.
- Team-oriented mindset with flexibility to adjust to changing needs in a dynamic ministry environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive relationships with leaders, volunteers, and staff.
- Genuine desire to help foster community, discipleship, and meaningful relationships within the church.
