Steel Fitter/Welder - Day Shift

Responsibilities

* In this role, you will be responsible for fitting and assembling various steel structures according to blueprints and specifications while maintaining high safety and quality standards

* Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to determine project requirements

* Measure, cut, and fit steel components according to specifications

* Align and weld steel components to create structural assemblies

* Verify measurements and alignments using precision measuring tools

* Install miscellaneous steel items such as stairs, handrails, and support structures

* Maintain quality control standards throughout the fitting process

* Inspect completed work to ensure compliance with specifications

* Follow all safety protocols and procedures

* Coordinate with other trades and team members on project requirements

* Maintain tools and equipment in proper working condition
