Operations Manager, Program / Project Manager
KLR Executive Search Group is proud to partner with a full-service business law firm to identify a commercially minded Director of Operations to oversee day-to-day operational performance and support execution of the firm’s growth strategy. This leader will translate firm priorities into scalable processes, policies, and staffing models across multiple offices, ensuring the infrastructure is in place to support continued expansion.
The Director of Operations will work closely with practice and department leadership, drive process improvements, and support cross-office alignment as the firm advances its long-term growth objectives. Ideal candidates will bring experience in operational leadership within professional services or law firm environments and a track record of improving efficiency and organizational performance.
This position is expected to be hybrid and based in the firm’s Boca Raton, FL or Providence, RI offices.
- Oversee daily operations across all of the firms offices to ensure alignment, efficiency, and consistency.
- Manage HR operations including recruiting coordination, onboarding, retention support, and performance processes.
- Partner with department leaders on staffing alignment and oversee facilities, vendors, and administrative functions.
- Standardize workflows, improve client intake, and enhance cross-office coordination. Support implementation of technology solutions and partner with finance and IT to track operational performance and reporting.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and operational planning. Monitor expenses, assist with capacity planning, and provide performance reporting to senior leadership.
- Support operational policy development, regulatory compliance, and enforcement of firm-wide operational and administrative standards.
- Operational leadership experience within a law firm, or similarly structured multi-office professional services organization

. - Proven ability to implement processes, improve efficiency, and support organizational growth.
- Experience overseeing core operational functions including HR processes, facilities, vendor management, workflow optimization, and technology implementation.
- Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
- The firm’s primary offices are in Boca Raton, FL and Providence, RI - local candidates or those willing to relocate are preferred.
