Position OverviewWe are seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Technician to join our team. The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the daily upkeep, preventive maintenance, and general repairs of the building’s systems and facilities, ensuring a safe, clean, and well‑maintained environment for residents.
Key Responsibilities- Respond to building emergencies and participate in on‑call rotation as needed.
- Conduct preventive maintenance tasks, including filter changes, lubrication, and minor adjustments.
- Maintain common areas (lobbies, hallways, amenities, parking garage, and surrounding grounds) in clean and operational condition.
- Provide chairs to residents when requested.
- Opening and closing umbrellas for guests and keeping pool furniture in order.
- Maintaining beach bathrooms, cleaning BBQs and the surrounding area.
- Ensuring beach furniture is returned to the storage area and umbrellas are properly closed and stored.
- Maintaining and patrolling all grounds and areas for trash and moving dumpsters to the collection area.
- Maintaining the underground garage.
- Drywall repairs, painting.
- Irrigation repairs.
- Leaf blowing, power washing pool deck and paved areas including parking lot.
- Light landscaping, painting and other duties assigned.
- Ensure tools, inventory, and maintenance supplies are well‑stocked and properly stored.
- Follow all safety procedures, including use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Support tasks such as pressure washing, and exterior upkeep.
- High school diploma or GED required; trade school or technical certification preferred.
- 2+ years of maintenance or building operations experience (residential or commercial).
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair building systems and perform minor carpentry/painting tasks.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in various indoor/outdoor conditions.
- Ability to stand on a ladder for long periods of time.
- Familiarity with Building Link and GEO App preferred.
- Experience in a condominium, multifamily, or hospitality environment preferred.
