Lead DevOps Engineer

Essential Responsibilities

• Must have an active AWS Dev Ops certification and demonstrate proficiency in Dev Ops production environments
• Develop and lead operational processes such as implementing new software deployment strategies, automation, containerization, configuration management and Infrastructure as Code.
• Establish and run the processes for ongoing maintenance while monitoring support and security patching across platforms
• Automate, support, and ensure CI/CD in product development
• Collaborate and mentor junior engineers regarding software release best practices
• Perform code reviews to ensure high quality and consistent coding practices are followed
• Work with operations and infrastructure teams to ensure seamless deployments, proper documentation, and support for applications
• Ensure that business standards and procedures are maintained in accordance with company policies, and all audit, security, and regulatory requirements
• Work with internal and external Engineering/Security/Operations teams to ensure that the defined standards are met and used throughout all departments

• Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline
• Five (5) years of experience working with AWS infrastructure and/or development teams to build enterprise-scale applications
• Five (5) years of experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery processes
• Proved experience AWS components (EKS, VPC, EC2, ELB / ALB, ECS, Route
  53)
• Experience leading a Dev Ops team, Git Hub Actions / Jenkins
• Experience architecting and supporting highly available and highly scalable cloud infrastructures like AWS and OCI
• Cloud provisioning and configuration technologies (Terraform, AWS Cloud Formation, ArgoCD, Helm, Kustomize)
• Proficiency in Linux shell and at least one scripting language like Python, Groovy, Perl
• Server Monitoring SaaS solutions (Datadog, Site
  24x7, Pager Duty)
• Experience with databases (Postgres, MySQL, Redis, Oracle)
