Amenities Attendant (Floater) – KW Property Management and Consulting
Position Overview – The Amenities Attendant for the Floater Team is responsible for maintaining a safe and clean pool, beach, fitness or other recreational areas for guests or residents under the supervision of the Maintenance Supervisor, Property Manager or General Manager.
Duties and Essential Functions- Welcome and greet residents.
- Answer phones and schedule services.
- Maintain inventory of supplies, organize and report when additional supplies are needed.
- Ensure the pool vendor performs correctly and report issues to management.
- Determine improvements to recreational areas and share suggestions with management.
- Wash, dry, fold and prepare towels; set them out timely and pick up regularly.
- Prepare iced fruit water every morning; ensure ice and water are replenished.
- Maintain fitness area: rack weights, position equipment, dispose of trash.
- Clean machines regularly and assist with bi‑weekly deep cleans.
- Keep gym mirrors clean.
- Report equipment damage to the gym equipment company and arrange repairs.
- Assist in improving services at the amenities level, special events and special projects.
- Organize pool or beach chairs as needed.
- Ensure residents comply with Association rules and regulations.
- Report malfunctions immediately to supervisor.
- Remove trash from garbage bins in bathrooms, pool deck, and beach as needed.
- Complete daily checklist of groundskeeping items of the pool deck and other recreational areas.
- Assist other departments on projects and duties as assigned.
The position is a mix of indoor and outdoor work, with a moderate noise level.
Physical DemandsThe role requires occasional sitting, standing, reaching, lifting, bending, kneeling, stooping, climbing, pushing and pulling items weighing 30 pounds or less. It requires manual dexterity, auditory and visual skills, and the ability to follow written and oral instructions and procedures. Long periods of standing and walking and outdoor work are common. Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
Position Type & Expected Hours of WorkNon‑exempt (hourly). Days and hours are determined by each property manager or supervisor. Schedule may change to accommodate business needs of the properties in the Floater region.
LanguageEnglish Speaking Required.
RequiredEducation and Experience
- Prior experience in a related position.
- Experience at a luxury property, club or hotel strongly preferred.
- Ability to work in a busy, luxury, and fast‑paced environment.
- Positive “can‑do” attitude at all times, including during high‑stress situations.
- Effective communication with other staff.
- Ability to work well with others; the role requires cooperation from team members.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- Ability to organize and prioritize.
