Medical Assistant

Our busy Dermatology practice is seeking an exceptional, professional team player to join our team! Our Medical Assistant must be able to handle a fast-paced environment and provide 5-star customer service. • Triaging patients using EMR system and assisting providers in exam rooms
• Patient communication: general instructions, biopsy result callbacks, pre-op/post-op instructions, checking messages from patients throughout the day and responding in a timely manner
• Maintaining biopsy log/sending certified letters
• Assisting with Mohs surgery
• Stocking rooms
• Other duties as assigned

• Ability to work well with multiple physicians and anticipate their needs regarding patient care.
• Must be friendly, punctual and able to multi task and perform a wide variety of patient care activities.

Job Type:

• Full-time

Experience:

• 1-2 years of medical assisting experience is required
• Dermatology experience is preferred but we are willing to train the right person

Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent

Certifications/Licenses:

• Medical Assisting Certification is preferred
• Starts at $19.00 hourly and increases with years of experience

* This is a full-time, 40 hours per week position with medical,dental, and vision benefits available
