This is a medical assistant position in a private pediatric office, can be PT or FT, or PT leading to FT. Applicants should:
- Have an upbeat personality
- Communicate clearly to patients and staff
- Be computer literate, able to scan documents into EHR
- Be able to perform or capable of learning:
- Taking vital signs on children
- O2 sat measurements
- Obtaining height, weight and head measurements
- Administering vaccines
- Finger/heel pricks, throat/nose swabs and urine tests
We are looking for somebody with a warm and friendly personality, who finds joy in caring for kids but who can also handle themselves in a busy clinical environment. Pediatric experience in the past is preferred but we are willing to train the right person.
The hours would be flexible, but within 8:30am to 12:30 and 1:30pm to 5:30 timeframe, occasional Sat morning hours.
$17-21/hour based on experience.
20-38hrs/week.
