Per Diem Rotate
Position SummaryTo Sterile Processing Tech provides sterile supplies and aseptic equipment to be used in patient care utilizing the proper processing of instrumentation and supplies, to include cleaning, packaging, processing, storage, and appropriate documentation.
Qualifications Education- Minimum:
High School diploma or equivalent. - Preferred:
Certificate from an approved CSS technician program or in the process of achieving certification.
- Preferred: One year experience as Sterile Services Technician.
- Knowledge of instruments and sterilization procedures.
- Knowledge of safety precautions and hazards of steam, ethylene oxide (ETO), and per ascetic acid processing.
