X-Ray Tech - Medical Assistant - Weekends

Join MD Now Urgent Care as a X‑Ray Technician / Medical Assistant for weekend shifts. This incentive‑eligible role requires clinical experience, EHR proficiency, and state‑licensed radiology credentials.

• Take vital signs, collect lab specimens, perform EKGs, and administer IM injections.
• Perform all X‑ray and imaging services per provider orders and update patient charts.
• Collect patient history and document in EHR.
• Apply splints, dressings, and bandages.
• Assist with check‑in/check‑out and audit charts as needed.
• Maintain records and logs for in‑house lab work, drug screens, and lab work sent to other labs.
• Keep patients and visitors informed of clinic progress.

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program or completion of an approved BOTP program.
• State‑licensed radiology technologist (RT) or Basic X‑ray Machine Operator (BMXO/BMO) license.
• Current certification from the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) preferred.
• Current BLS certification, valid within 30 days of start date.
• Federal Breath Alcohol Screening Certification and Federal Drug Screening Certification within 3 months.
• 1+ year of clinical experience in a patient‑care setting desirable.
• Experience using an EHR system beneficial.
