Overview
Pool Surgical Technologist, Endoscopy Center, Per Diem, Varies
Prepares, organizes and monitors the sterile field environment under the direction of a surgeon and a registered nurse for assigned surgical cases/deliveries. Provides assistance to the surgeon/physician and registered nurse as directed.
Responsibilities- Prepare and maintain sterile field for surgical procedures in the endoscopy center.
- Assist surgeon, physician, and registered nurse as directed during procedures.
- Monitor and manage equipment and supplies necessary for surgical cases.
- Degrees:
High School, Cert, GED, Trn, Exper - Licenses &
Certifications:
Basic Life Support - Additional Qualifications:
Graduate of a Surgical Technologist Program (preferred). - AST Certification (preferred) or minimum of 1 year (preferred) of extensive experience in the surgical setting as a surgical technologist.
- Endoscopy procedure experience required.
