The firm offers comprehensive accounting, consulting, and business management services, including tax planning, audits, and financial restructuring analysis.

Position Overview

We are seeking a Tax Manager to oversee tax-related matters within the technology and professional services group. The role involves building client relationships and adopting a consultative approach to understand their needs, challenges, and goals, aiming to become a trusted advisor.

Responsibilities

Ensure accurate and timely preparation of tax returns for clients in the technology and professional services sectors.

Stay informed on relevant tax laws and regulations.

Implement strategies to minimize tax liabilities and maximize benefits for clients.

Maintain proactive communication with clients regarding engagement status, serving as the primary contact.

Develop strong client relationships and understand their needs to provide tailored advice and identify opportunities for additional services.

Guide clients on complex tax issues and support their understanding of tax matters.

Supervise and mentor tax team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.

Manage workloads and deadlines for Tax Supervisors and Tax Seniors to ensure timely delivery of services.

Promote employee engagement by connecting their work to the firm’s success and supporting their professional development.

Qualifications Education

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
CPA certification is preferred.

Experience

At least 5 years of tax experience, particularly in technology and professional services industries.
Strong knowledge of relevant tax laws and regulations.
Leadership skills with experience managing and motivating teams.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office applications.

Compensation

Annual salary range of $140,000 to $180,000, commensurate with experience.
