Role Description

We’re looking for motivated, driven, and entrepreneurial professionals to join our bora Raton and Coral Springs, FL offices as Financial Representatives
. This full-time hybrid role offers the flexibility to work mostly in-office but also remotely while building a meaningful career.

As a Financial Representative, you’ll do more than provide financial advice—you’ll make a lasting impact on people’s lives. From protecting families with insurance to designing investment and retirement strategies, you’ll help clients gain clarity, confidence, and control over their financial future.

What you’ll do:
  • Build and nurture strong client relationships based on trust and long‑term partnership.
  • Develop personalized financial plans tailored to clients’ goals and life stages.
  • Guide clients on insurance, investments, retirement, and wealth‑building strategies.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, financial markets, and innovative planning tools.
  • Grow your practice by sourcing, acquiring, and serving new clients.
Qualifications

We’re seeking passionate professionals who want to build a career that matters. Ideal candidates will have:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a client‑first mindset.
  • The ability to thrive independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Entrepreneurial drive and motivation to grow your own business.
  • Background in Finance is not a requirement, but relevant certifications and licenses (e.g.,
    CFP®) or willingness to pursue them are a strong plus.
  • Above average mindset. This role is for the ones that want to be paid by their own effort six figures on year 1.

Successful recruits come from diverse backgrounds (sales, business, career changers).

Path and Support

Start as a Financial Representative ↔ Obtain licenses ↔ Become a licensed Financial Advisor ↔ Potential to move into leadership (e.g., building and managing a local office).

Required Steps/Licenses

Northwestern Mutual provides support, pre‑payment/ reimbursement for courses/books, study groups, etc.:

  • Background check and fingerprinting.
  • Securities licenses:
    Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) exam, Series 6 (or 7), and Series 63.
  • Northwestern Mutual‑specific courses/training.
Compensation

Performance‑based (commissions, bonuses, renewals, allowances).

Average first 3 years: ~$100K‑$150K
; top 25%: $200K‑$300K
.
