You are invited to join our Boca Raton, FL tax office as a full‑time Sr. Tax Accountant. The Tax Accountant will play a key role in delivering high‑quality tax and accounting services, including preparing individual and business tax returns, conducting client interviews, and providing guidance on a variety of tax matters.
Responsibilities- Conduct client interviews to understand their financial circumstances and gather necessary documentation.
- Review client‑provided financial data for completeness and accuracy.
- Prepare tax returns and provide accounting services for individuals and small businesses; knowledge of estates honours and trusts required.
- Analyze financial performance and assist with forecasting and budgeting.
- Supervise and mentor junior staff on accounting and tax projects.
- Identify redirects opportunities to assist clients by leveraging the full suite of services offered by the firm.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- Minimum of five years’ experience in preparing individual and business tax returns.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Direct experience working with clients and the ability to explain tax and accounting concepts clearly.
- At least one year of experience using Ultra Tax software.
- Familiarity with preparing sales and payroll tax filings.
- Positive attitude with a team‑oriented and professional approach.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to make accurate, rules‑based decisions.
- Highly organized and proactive, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast‑paced environment
