The OpportunityOur FSO EDGE State and Local Tax practice offers tailored, comprehensive tax assistance, working closely with experienced professionals across various tax areas, processes, and compliance.
YourKey Responsibilities
As a Services Manager, you will oversee tax compliance and consulting projects, identifying issues and escalating concerns to meet client needs promptly and accurately. You will collaborate within a diverse team and share insights across practices.

- Identifying opportunities and risks, communicating effectively with clients
- Staying current with market trends to serve as a trusted advisor
- Developing strategies to improve clients’ tax functions
- Building long-term client relationships and understanding their business operations
- Collaborating with professionals and sharing technical knowledge
- Managing, coaching, and developing team members
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related; or a graduate degree in Tax or Law
- CPA or licensed Attorney
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in professional services or tax organizations
- Strong understanding of automated tax systems and laws
- Excellent collaboration, negotiation, and leadership skills
- Commitment to continuous learning
- Knowledge of state and local partnership tax
- Proficiency in Office applications and Return Preparation Software
- Experience working in diverse teams and adapting work styles

Salaries range from $103,600 to $189,700 nationally, with higher ranges in certain states, determined by experience, education, and location.
