About the RoleAs a Manager, you will lead multiple captive insurance tax engagements, preparing consulting memos, tax opinions, feasibility studies, and supporting audits. Your responsibilities include overseeing delivery, managing relationships, staffing and economics of projects, and ensuring exceptional client service.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee preparation and delivery of captive insurance tax consulting memos and tax opinions.
- Lead captive insurance feasibility studies, including specific commentary on tax implications.
- Conduct financial statement audits and review of tax returns.
- Manage client relationships, including relationship building, staffing, and engagement economics.
- Analyze engagement results to continually enhance client service.
- Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 5 years of tax experience.
- CPA or licensed attorney (required).
- Strong knowledge of ASC 740 and SSAP 101.
- Income tax support for audits and experience with insurance and C‑Corporations.
- At least 5 years of experience preparing 1120, 1120‑PC, 1120‑L and consolidated group returns; reviewing these returns is a must.
- Experience working in One Source and/or Corptax environments.
- Experience with captive insurance companies is a bonus.
- Knowledge of how captive insurance companies operate.
- Direct experience in state and local taxation (e.g., state return compliance, state income tax accounting, state apportionment fundamentals).

- Comprehensive compensation and benefits: base salary range from $103,600 to $189,900 in the U.S., and $124,300 to $215,800 for selected metro areas, plus medical, dental, pension, 401(k), and paid time off.
- Hybrid model with 40–60% in‑person collaboration expected for client‑serving roles.
