Reliability Engineer – ADMA Biologics
ADMA Biologics, a biopharmaceutical company committed to quality and excellence, is seeking a Reliability Engineer to support maintenance reliability and predictive maintenance across our manufacturing facility.
Responsibilities- Ensure reliability and maintainability of new and modified installations, adhering to the Life Cycle Asset Management (LCAM) process throughout the asset lifecycle.
- Participate in the development of design and installation specifications, commissioning plans, and acceptance tests.
- Lead final check‑out of new installations, including factory and site acceptance testing to confirm adherence to functional specifications.
- Guide efforts to ensure reliability and maintainability of equipment, processes, utilities, facilities, controls, and safety/security systems.
- Define, design, develop, monitor, and refine an Asset Maintenance Plan that includes value‑added preventive maintenance tasks and effective use of predictive and non‑destructive testing methods.
- Provide input to a Risk Management Plan to anticipate reliability‑related risks that could impact plant operation.
- Collaborate with Production to analyze assets – Asset Utilization, Overall Equipment Effectiveness, remaining useful life, and other reliability metrics.
- Develop engineering solutions for repetitive failures and other operational issues (capacity, quality, cost, regulatory compliance).
- Apply data‑analysis techniques including:
- Statistical Process Control, Reliability modeling & prediction, Fault Tree Analysis, Weibull Analysis, Six Sigma (6σ) Methodology.
- Perform Root‑Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA), Failure Mode Effect Analysis (FMEA), Failure Reporting, Analysis & Corrective Action System (FRACAS).
- Conduct Preliminary Hazards Analysis (PHA).
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum of 5 years reliability engineering/maintenance experience in a cGMP, pharmaceutical/biological manufacturing environment.
- Experience with process equipment (pumps, centrifuges, refrigeration, fluid flow).
- Strong understanding of cGMP, SOPs, and regulatory requirements.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, and Microsoft Project.
- Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Knowledge of instrumentation and electronics beneficial for device calibration and repair.
Experience with quality systems, compliance, and risk management initiatives. Ability to fulfill Quality Assurance record keeping, HR, and Environmental Health & Safety procedures in a timely manner.
