High School Temporary History Teacher

This is a full-time, on-site position for a High School Temporary History Teacher in Boca Raton, FL at Donna Klein Jewish Academy. The teacher will be responsible for developing and delivering engaging history lessons, including topics in World History and American History, in alignment with the curriculum. Duties include lesson planning, creating instructional materials, assessing student performance, fostering a positive learning environment, and collaborating with colleagues to support student development.

• Strong knowledge and expertise in World History and American History
• Proficiency in Lesson Planning and History Education
• Experience in Curriculum Development, with the ability to create engaging classroom materials
• Effective classroom management and communication skills
• Bachelor's degree in History, Education, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred but not required)
• Teaching certification or relevant credentials in History Education
• A passion for teaching and fostering knowledge in students about history and its relevance
• Familiarity with Jewish heritage and values is a plus
