The RoleAs a Project Manager / Project Architect at LH Architects, you will play a key leadership role managing high visibility projects from early design through construction. Well qualified candidates are confident leaders and strong technical professionals with skills in planning, team building, communication, zoning and building code research, materials and assemblies, building systems coordination, documentation, and construction administration.
Responsibilities- Lead and support the project team through multiple stages of project development and construction
- Manage delivery of project documents from SD through DD, CDs, permitting, and CA
- Coordinate consultants (civil, structural, MEP, landscape, etc.) and integrate deliverables into the drawing set
- Drive project communications with clients, consultants, and internal team members
- Maintain strong QA QC standards for accuracy, constructability, and clarity across all deliverables
- Research zoning and building code requirements, translate them into clear direction, and verify compliance
- Support construction administration and correspondence including RFIs, submittals, field observations, punch lists, and closeout
- Participate in project pursuits, proposals, presentations, and firm growth initiatives
- Help improve Revit standards, templates, and BIM workflows as we continue to scale
- 7 years minimum experience (5 plus may be considered for exceptional candidates)
- Project Management / Project Architect experience preferred
- Team lead experience preferred
- Autodesk Revit proficiency required.
- Experience with modeling and rendering tools such as Advanced Revit, Autodesk Construction Cloud, Navisworks Manage, Bluebeam Revu, Dynamo for Revit, Rhino plus Grasshopper, Lumion, D5 Render, Enscape, Twinmotion, Sketch Up and Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) for presentations, Microsoft 365 (Excel, Outlook, Teams) for coordination.
- Procore familiarity for CA workflows in the field: RFIs, submittals, drawings, and coordination
- Autodesk Forma for early stage planning and performance analysis, connected with Revit workflows,
- Test Fit for fast feasibility and layout iteration, especially multifamily and mixed use
- Minimum 4 year college degree from an accredited school of architecture required
- Graduate degree is a plus
- Licensed Architect preferred, or a demonstrated path toward licensure
- Proven track record delivering successful projects in a reputable architectural firm
- Ability to manage concurrent projects in various stages of development with strong prioritization
- Strong management and mentorship skills
- Strong presentation and communication skills, including leading meetings with consultants and internal teams
- Ability to collaborate on large teams and perform well under deadlines
