* Position Summary:
** Florida Atlantic University is seeking an Assistant Coordinator, Broadcast Productions - Boca Raton, FL.The Assistant Coordinator, Broadcast Productions supports the planning and execution of live broadcasts for FAU. This role involves managing technical aspects of game-day production, coordinating staff, and collaborating with vendors to deliver high-quality broadcasts and video board show.
Summary of Responsibilities:
* Assist with the day-to-day operations and strategic planning of all broadcasting functions for Florida Atlantic Athletics events.
* Proven ability to produce quality and consistent live broadcasts, while adhering to FAU brand guidelines and ESPN and conference production standards.
* Oversee all technical aspects of live game production, including EIC, camera operation, replay systems, graphics, and audio engineering.
* Collaboration with third-party vendors to deliver FAU Athletics productions to ESPN.
* Working knowledge of Ross switchers, Blackmagic switchers, and New Tek 3
Play.
* Assist with scheduling part-time staff and interns for broadcasting and video board staffing at events.
* Assist with training and development of student staff.
* Ability to step into various broadcast roles during live FAU Athletics productions as needed.
* Assisting with non-FAU Athletics events when streaming and/or video board services are needed.
* Demonstrate a thorough understanding of existing technology and engineering in a control room.
* Stay current with broadcast trends nationwide.
* Assist in identifying, recruiting, and scheduling talent for each broadcast.
* Assist with maintenance and proper care of FAU’s broadcast production infrastructure.
* Ability to take initiative and be creative in enhancing the FAU brand through live broadcasts and video board shows.
* Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

** Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in an appropriate area of specialization required.
Implement visual and acoustic solutions quickly, especially as timing is important in live video streaming and broadcasting required.
** Salary:**$55,000 - $65,000 per year.
