Senior Accountant - Retail & Mixed‑Use Portfolio

NDM Hospitality is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to support full‑cycle accounting and financial reporting for a portfolio of retail and mixed‑use properties. This role is heavily focused on commercial lease accounting, CAM reconciliations, NNN recoveries, and month‑end close within Yardi Voyager. The Senior Accountant partners closely with the Accounting Manager and Property Management teams to ensure accurate tenant billing, revenue recognition, and GAAP‑compliant reporting.

• Maintain commercial lease accounting schedules including base rent, escalations, percentage rent, and recoveries.
• Set up and update lease terms in Yardi (renewals, amendments, terminations).
• Prepare annual CAM reconciliations, gross‑ups, tenant caps, and recovery billings.
• Complete full‑cycle property accounting: journal entries, accruals, reclasses, prepaid amortization, and bank reconciliations.
• Maintain accurate general ledger activity and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly financial packages (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, variance analysis, rent rolls).
• Support ownership and lender reporting requirements.
• Track capital expenditures and maintain fixed asset schedules.
• Assist with annual audits and tenant CAM audit requests.
• Collaborate with Property Managers and Leasing teams to ensure lease data accuracy and resolve billing questions.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 3‑5 years of progressive property accounting experience.
• 2+ years in commercial retail or mixed‑use property accounting preferred.
• Strong CAM reconciliation and NNN recovery experience.
• Proficiency with Yardi Voyager (7S) required.
• Advanced Excel skills and strong knowledge of GAAP.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

• Experience with Oracle Net Suite.
• Experience responding to tenant CAM audits.
• Strong problem‑solving skills in complex lease structures.
