Under the general supervision of the Controller and Payroll Manager, performs a variety of support services to insure the payment of the Medical Center’s payroll. The following statements reflect the general duties considered necessary to describe the principal functions of the job as identified and shall not be considered as a detailed description of all the work requirements, which may be inherent in the position.

- Numerical ability to calculate by formula and prepare statistical data and reports as required.
- Ability to assume responsibility of special projects as assigned.
- Ability to address complaints regarding the payroll of the Medical Center.
- Attends and participates in administrative and other meetings as required.
- Ability to solve payroll issues in a timely manner.
- Ability to coordinate, perform and ensure the accuracy of payroll processing and check distribution in accordance with policy and procedures.
- Ability to maintain record keeping and filing system in accordance with departmental system.
- Verbal ability to communicate courteously to public in answering telephone and giving directions appropriately.
- Maintain strict confidentiality at all times.
High School Diploma minimum 2 years college preferred or 3 years experience in related field.
