Oversee machine and secondary activity within assigned department including safety and quality; communicate issues to supervisor.

• Manage inventory in 3409 and 3419 to support IPD plant locations; manage subcontract work for dept 3409 and 3419.
• Trouble shoot all equipment within the dept and utilize appropriate support resources as needed.
• Maintain and update data using mainframe (MSS) computer system (Check inventory); help manage raw material inventory.
• Make jobs using the MSS mainframe system, and close jobs when process is complete.
• Prioritize, plan, and assign resources to meet customer requests
• Track components at annual - silver plater any other sub-contract
• Ensure products meet quality requirements
• Load machines, as needed
• Communicate with customer services using various mediums/tools i.e., phone, email, etc.
• Primary Back-up for Everlube, barrel finisher and Lube 5
• Train and develop team members
• Work closely with Assembly to provide components needed to meet production demands
• Monitor team progress and post data on the Team Improvement Board
• Lead and facilitate HPT meetings, engaging employees in the improvement process
• Lead continous improvement efforts
• All other job duties assigned

• High School diploma or equivalency
• Minimum two (2) years production experience
