• Performs clinical imaging procedures, including echocardiography, at a technical level not requiring constant supervision.
• Maintains uniform operation of the department by performing a broad range of duties.
• Receives and processes necessary patient information.
• Uses independent judgment and initiative to perform imaging exams according to policy while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and protection.
• Assists the radiologist and attending physician.
• Communicates effectively, works efficiently and productively, and maintains a clean and safe environment by properly using and caring for equipment.
• Demonstrates a caring attitude toward patients, visitors, and employees.
• Stays current with changes in the profession through continuing education programs.
• Holds ARRT licensure or ADRMS registration.
• Expected to take call in any area after completion of competency requirements.
• CPR certification.
