Registered Nurse; RN – Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation; PM&R

Location: Southwoods Health
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday–Friday (7:00 AM – 3:30 PM or 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM)

Southwoods Health is seeking a professional RN to join our Physical Medicine and Rehab team. In this physician office‑based role, you will partner with providers to deliver specialized, high‑quality care. This position offers a stable weekday schedule with a perfect balance of hands‑on clinical support and administrative coordination.

• Clinical Support:
  Assist physicians with procedures, perform point‑of‑care (POC) testing, and process prescription refills via EMR.
• Patient Coordination:
  Schedule clinical procedures, communicate diagnostic results to patients per physician instructions, and manage follow‑up care.
• Triage & Communication:
  Manage incoming medical calls, address patient concerns, and ensure the multidisciplinary team is updated.
• Compliance & Quality:
  Maintain a professional environment that meets all regulatory standards (OSHA, ODH, TJC, etc.) and complete required Environment of Care (EOC) rounds.
• Administrative Excellence:
  Compile and fax necessary orders, reports, and labs for hospital procedures.

• Active Ohio RN license
• Current AHA BLS certification
• Experience:
  
  1+ years of direct patient care; 3+ years in a physician office or ambulatory setting preferred.
• Skills:
  
  Proficiency in EMR and basic computer applications.
• Attributes:
  Strong organizational skills, a professional demeanor, and the ability to manage shifting priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Education:
  
  BSN preferred
