RN Care Coordinator – Urology

Boardman, Austintown, and Howland, OH (Multi‑site rotation)

Part‑Time | 3–4 Days Per Week | 7:30am – 4:00pm

No evenings, no weekends, and no holidays.

Southwoods Health is seeking a flexible and clinical‑minded Registered Nurse to join our Urology team. This unique role rotates across our three Urology practices, acting as a vital link between our physicians and patients to ensure seamless, high‑quality care.

• Clinical Coordination:
  Assist physicians with specialized urological procedures and manage the scheduling of complex clinical treatments.
• Patient Advocacy:
  Act as the primary point of contact for medical concerns; answer patient inquiries, triage phone messages, and process prescription refills through the EMR.
• Results Management:
  Monitor diagnostic test results, communicate findings to patients per physician instructions, and coordinate necessary follow‑up testing or appointments.
• Procedural Support:
  Perform Point of Care (POC) testing and ensure all necessary orders, labs, and reports are compiled and transmitted for hospital procedures.
• Compliance & Safety:
  Maintain a professional environment by completing EOC rounds and ensuring all processes meet OSHA and The Joint Commission (TJC) standards.

• Licensure:
  Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Ohio.
• Certifications:
  
  Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA).
• Experience:
  
  3+ years in a physician’s office or ambulatory setting is required; previous EMR experience is highly preferred.
• Skills:
  
  Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage changing priorities across multiple locations.
• Education:
  
  Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
