Southwoods Health – Boardman, OH
Southwoods Health is seeking a patient-focused Medical Receptionist for our Boardman Endocrinology office. This role is the face of our practice, ensuring every patient receives a professional, proactive, and welcoming experience.
Key Responsibilities- Patient Access:
Manage registration, check-in, and check-out processes. - Financials:
Collect co-pays and perform insurance verification. - Scheduling:
Coordinate follow-up appointments and provide post-visit instructions. - Communication:
Perform telephone triage and facilitate provider instructions. - Collaboration:
Work closely with clinical staff to ensure a seamless patient flow.
- Experience:
Medical receptionist experience preferred. - Skills:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and medical terminology. - Traits:
Exceptional customer service, high attention to detail, and a professional demeanor. - Aptitude:
Strong problem-solving skills and a cooperative, team-oriented attitude.
- Full-time (40 hours/week).
- Monday–Friday, shifts between 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM.
