Job SummaryPerforms a variety of administrative functions. Schedules appointments, gives information to callers, and takes dictation. Composes memos, transcribes notes, researches and creates presentations. Generates reports, handles multiple projects, prepares and monitors invoices and expense reports. May assist with compiling and developing the annual budget. Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Works under general supervision.
Essential Job Functions- Schedules appointments, gives information to callers, and takes dictation.
- Composes memos, transcribes notes, researches and creates presentations.
- Generates reports, handles multiple projects, and prepares and monitors invoices and expense reports. May assist with compiling and developing the annual budget.
- Collects, compiles, and analyzes moderately complex data and information.
- Composes straightforward written descriptions of results.
High School Diploma or GED required.
2‑Year/Associate’s Degree preferred.
Less than 4 years of administrative/clerical experience.
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures in healthcare (preferred).
