Mental Health Professional- Blytheville

Overview

Arisa Health is currently seeking a dynamic Mental Health Professional to join our outpatient clinic in Blytheville. The ideal candidate will have experience providing services in a behavioral health organization or with a community mental health or healthcare organization. Arisa Health is Arkansas' largest and most comprehensive nonprofit behavioral health provider, formed by the affiliation of four long-standing Arkansas community mental health centers.

We offer outpatient services, crisis services and emergency screening, substance abuse counseling, intensive children and adult services, medical services, and residential services in 41 Arkansas counties.

This position is full-time, exempt (salaried) and reports to the Program Coordinator.

Work hours:

Monday - Thursday, 7:30am - 6:30pm.

• Interview/assess clients for mental health needs and provide individual, family conjoint, and group therapy services.
• Document, review, and maintain accurate case records and relevant clinical information.
• Provide counseling and appraisal services to individuals or groups to help understand personal problems, define goals, plan activities, and assess aptitudes, attitudes, abilities, achievements, interests, and personal characteristics as they relate to personal and social concerns and educational progress.

• Masters degree in counseling or social work
• Current Arkansas license (LAC, LPC, LMSW, PLMSW or LCSW)
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to multitask
• Ability to work independently and as part of a treatment team
