Class 2 HIAB Driver

The Best Connection are currently recruiting Regional Relief Class 2 (C) HGV Drivers on behalf of our client, a leading national builders' merchant, to cover sites across the North East including Blaydon, Blyth, Durham, Hartlepool, Middlesbrough and Newcastle
.

• Delivery of building materials to local customers
• Loading and unloading vehicles using a HIAB
• Ensuring loads are safe, secure and legally compliant
• Completing approximately 14 deliveries per day
• Maintaining a professional and customer‑focused approach at all times

• Monday to Friday
• Sociable daytime hours
• No weekends

• £32,000 per annum (based on a 40‑hour week – £15.38 per hour)

• Valid Class 2 (Category
  
  C) licence
• Valid CPC and Digi Tacho Card
• Minimum 12 months Class 2 driving experience (including use of own vehicle)
• HIAB experience preferred but not essential – training will be provided
• Strong customer service skills
• Safety‑conscious and professional attitude
