• Be a Team Member:
  Collaborates with other associates to build a strong meat team; communicates with team members; and being flexible to the needs of the business to work in other areas.
• Be an Expert:
  Demonstrates knowledge of floor and backroom operations, product safety standards, sanitation guidelines, inventory management, and the operation, maintenance, and sanitization of equipment; prepares meat products according to established standards; cuts boneless meat products; and maintains product quality standards.
• Be a Techie:
  Leverages digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement; uses handheld technology to make immediate business decisions related to production, training, and product quality with the member in mind; adapts to new tools and encourages others to use them.
• Be an Owner:
  Maintains operational excellence and keeps work area clean according to company policies; ensures quality and date control standards for meat products; secures fragile and high-shrink merchandise; eliminates waste; assists members with purchasing decisions; ensures merchandise is properly packaged, labeled, and stored in accordance with company policies.
• Be a Talent Ambassador:
  Advocates for the department and the club by valuing the member’s experience in the meat area and modeling high-quality service and products; executes basics at the highest possible level of quality; shows energy, commitment, and passion for the work.

• Completes work assignments by using policies, data, and resources; collaborates with managers, coworkers, customers, and partners; prioritizes deadlines; communicates progress and information; identifies opportunities for improvement and adapts to change and feedback.

The hourly wage range for this position is $17.00 to $24.00. The actual pay may vary based on location and experience. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in certain circumstances.
