Veterinary Receptionist Part Time - Riverside Animal Hospital

Overview

At Riverside Animal Hospital, we provide comprehensive veterinary care and partner with pet owners in the Hilton Head Island–Bluffton metropolitan area. You will join a highly respected team dedicated to pet wellness, surgery, and advanced care, including urgent and emergency procedures. We offer internal specialty consultations and mentorship programs to support career growth and advanced medical training in a friendly, caring environment.

We practice in a brand-new facility with in-house ultrasound capabilities and strive to offer same-day appointments when necessary. Bluffton, South Carolina, offers a small-town feel with access to a larger metropolitan area and coastal living.

• Be the Director of First Impressions: manage a multi-line phone system, greet clients with a positive attitude, and ensure every interaction reflects our commitment to compassionate care.
• Ensure Seamless Care Coordination: maintain accurate medical records, manage appointment schedules, and handle financial transactions to keep the hospital running smoothly and efficiently.
• Advocate for Pet Health: partner in pet wellness, educate clients on preventative care and other hospital services to ensure optimal care for every pet.
• Embody Compassion and Empathy: be a calming presence for clients, demonstrate empathy and respect in every situation, and treat each pet like your own.

• A passion for providing excellent customer service and a genuine love for animals.
• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to manage stressful situations with good judgment and a positive attitude.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• A collaborative, team-first mindset and the ability to work both independently and with direction.
• Experience with veterinary software is preferred. A flexible schedule, including some weekends and holidays, is required.
