Maintenance Assistant – Part and Full Time
Location:
The Palmettons of Bluffton, Okatie, SC
Join our family-oriented team at The Palmettons of Bluffton! We’re looking for a reliable Maintenance Assistant to help keep our community safe, clean, and well-maintained. HVAC or maintenance experience is a plus, but we’ll train the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities- Perform general maintenance, repairs, and scheduled upkeep
- Grounds care: mowing, planting, watering, weeding, and mulching
- Painting, carpet cleaning, and custodial duties
- Lift and move heavy furniture/equipment; run errands as needed
- Inspect property and equipment for safety compliance
- Coordinate work with other departments and be on call for emergencies
- High school diploma or technical school graduate
- Ability to read manuals, follow safety regulations, and use basic computer skills
- Maintenance experience preferred but not required
- Team player with strong work ethic
