The Human Resources Assistant will perform administrative tasks and services to support effective and efficient operations of the organization’s human resources department.
- Create and post job advertisements on various job boards and social media platforms to attract candidates
- Review resumes and applications to identify qualified candidates for open positions
- Conduct preliminary phone screenings to assess candidates’ qualifications and fit for the role
- Schedule virtual and on-site interviews
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract candidates
- Register for and attend career fairs
- Maintain GROB’s Intern Program – partnering with universities and colleges
- Assist with travel management duties, as needed
- Serve as a back-up for new hire orientation classes
- Primarily cover receptionist’s desk during lunch breaks and other absences
- Provides clerical support to the HR department
- Maintains the integrity and confidentiality of personnel files and records
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s or associate degree in human resources, business, or related field
- Prior related office experience preferred
- Knowledge of SAP software is a plus
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work with confidential and sensitive information in a discrete and professional manner
- Ability to effectively work with employees at all levels of the organization
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Willing to work overtime, if necessary
- This position requires work to be done onsite
