The Med Tech provides direct and indirect patient care activities under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse, assisting with activities of daily living, personal care, and maintaining a safe, clean environment for residents.
PrimaryResponsibilities
- Satisfactory completion of medication technician skills competency checklist.
- Must obtain the required medication technician training certificate.
- Experience in Assisted Living preferred.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English.
- Practice universal precautions with all patients.
- Assist in admission, transfer, and discharge procedures.
- Provide morning and evening care, including hygiene and general care tasks.
- Complete required online classes for Med Tech and CPR (~$112 for both).
