Housekeeping Part-Time

Housekeeping Assistant at NHC Health Care Bluffton – Join our team to provide a clean, safe environment for patients and visitors.

• Clean patient bathrooms including sinks, toilets, tubs and showers
• Empty garbage cans in patient rooms, bathrooms, activity areas, and other areas of the center
• Clean patient rooms (mopping/buffing floors, dusting furniture on top and underneath)
• Clean hallways (sweep, mop, strip, and buff following company and center policies)
• Clean walls, furniture and equipment as needed to provide a clean, pleasant environment for patients, staff, and visitors
• Work safely, following proper procedures when using chemical agents
• Follow established cleaning schedules
• Other duties that may be assigned from time to time

• Must be able to work rotational weekends
• Must be able to read and understand Standard English
• Must be flexible, a team player, and have a positive attitude
• Must enjoy working with geriatric and other healthcare patients
• Must be able to deal tactfully and effectively with patients, families, fellow employees, and visitors

Qualified applicants must be on feet 7‑8 hours a day, lift heavy objects, and work with standard cleaning chemicals.
