Position: CNA Certified Nursing Assistant - Part Time
Work Schedule:
PM Shift Weekends Only 3p - 11p

Palmettos of Bluffton fosters an environment of teamwork and provides opportunities of growth in a healthcare setting. The Resident Assistant will perform direct resident care duties under the supervision of licensed nursing personnel and assist with promoting a compassionate physical and psychosocial environment for the residents.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide personal care (bathing, grooming, dressing, oral care)
* Help with ambulation, transfers, and safe positioning
* Record vital signs, weights, intake/output, and other data
* Assist residents at meals and track hydration and food intake
* Maintain clean and comfortable resident spaces
* Observe residents and report changes to nursing staff
* Follow safety protocols and proper body mechanics
Experience
* Candidate must hold a High School Diploma or GED.
* Experience in senior resident services, social work, health care, or customer service is preferred.
* Strong verbal and written communications skills are essential.
* Prefer that the candidate have experience in working with older adults and a knowledge of the aging process.
* A flexible work schedule is also a necessity.
