Overview
The Guest Services Agent (GSA) serves as the ultimate customer service representative for the organization and sets the tone for a positive customer experience by projecting a positive and welcoming demeanor at all times. GSA's greet patients, families and visitors as they enter the facility and bid them farewell as they leave. They assist patients and family members with wheelchairs, directions, and other general questions and may escort patients and families to their intended destination if needed.
They also serve as a liaison between various services within the facility, communicating to departments via communication devices to assist with proper greetings or to inform a department about pertinent information related to a patient’s arrival. GSA's should be knowledgeable about general services outside of the facility (e.g., local restaurants, pharmacies) to assist patients and families unfamiliar with the area.

Greets patients, families and visitors as they enter facility utilizing scripted greeting; assists customers with wheelchairs, directions, registration kiosks, escorts when necessary, and answers questions in an informed and courteous way. Projects a strong commitment to customer service by always projecting a friendly demeanor. - Continuously seeks information as needed to assist patients, families and visitors. Stays up to date with tenant information for the building assigned and surrounding facilities.
- Utilizes communication device to inform departments of patients in route to service; provides patient name if available and any other pertinent information.
- Follows all requirements of dress code including use of assigned attire for Greeter role.
