Immediate opening for a Project Manager to take over a Clubhouse Renovation. This candidate should be experienced in communicating project milestones with clients and other parties and be able to establish a timeline for completion. Responsibilities
  • As a Project Manager, you are responsible for managing the construction of the jobs assigned to you in a manner which fully complies with the contract documents, completes on schedule, delivers the expected quality and is equal to or less than the budgeted cost. In performing your duties, you specifically will be responsible for estimating the project cost, preparing all subcontracts and purchase orders, process shop drawings and submittals, managing the RFI and change order process, preparing the master job schedule, updating the schedule weekly, managing the cost of the project, and facilitating the clear and prompt communication between the owner, architects, engineers, superintendent, and public officials involved in the construction process.

    You will assist the superintendent in scheduling, tracking the flow of material and subcontractors to the project and resolving any conflicts or other questions. You will be responsible for working with the superintendent to maintain a positive relationship with the inspection department, implementation of the Fraser Quality Control Program and ensuring that the jobsite remains safe at all times.
Qualifications
  • 5 years of experience in commercial construction as a Project Manager
  • Strong project management and communications skills
  • Ability to read construction documents
  • Computer skills including Procore and scheduling software (Microsoft Project)
  • Familiarity with regulatory construction standards
