Job Description- Mentors and coaches Quality associates, ensuring established work procedures are followed.
- Schedules, organizes, and participates in internal and external audits, adhering to established internal audit schedule and processes.
- Ensures the execution of non-conformances, containment, and corrective actions and metrics.
- Inspects and analyzes top scrap items to document irregularities, record necessary data and reduce scrap.
- Performs proactive risk management activities, including PFMEA Utilize established (G8D, 5 Why’s, C&E Diagrams) problem solving techniques and documents findings to eliminate or reduce special cause variation.
- Updates Statistical Information system to reflect accurate Process Control data and documentation of findings.
- Assists the Quality team with QS documentation & proficient with Minitab software to perform process capability studies, GR&R’s etc.
- Maintains product hold area, disposition parts, maintain appropriate documentation.
- Communicates work instructions to Supervisors and associates on all shifts.
- Assists in organizing special projects.
- Follows established quality systems and processes, documenting deviations and creating documents relating to process flows, control plans, PFMEAs, and customer needs.
- Conducts training of employees to ensure employees performing duties that affect Quality have been qualified in accordance with position HRQR’s.
- All other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's Degree in Quality Engineering or similar, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of experience with APQP, control plans, inspection systems, and action plans.
- Experience mentoring associates.
- Experience creating and implementing Quality Programs.
- Proficient with PFMEA.
- Experience utilizing established (G8D, 5 Why’s, C&E Diagrams) problem solving techniques.
