Electrical EngineerPosition Overview:
This role is ideal for an analytical, detail‑oriented Electrical Engineer who excels in delivering accurate, high‑quality technical work. The position involves designing new electric motors, supporting existing product lines, and enhancing engineering processes using modern design tools and technologies. The role is based onsite in Bluffton, IN
.
Main Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and test new electric motors based on customer specifications
- Provide technical support for existing products and customer inquiries
- Analyze and improve manufacturing aspects of current motor designs
- Collaborate with cross‑functional engineering teams to improve motor energy efficiency
- Lead initiatives to enhance engineering tools, software, and design methodologies
- Support additional internal functional areas with technical expertise as needed
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent)
- Minimum 5 years of experience in AC electric motor design
- Proficiency with motor design tools such as SPEED, Infolytica, ANSYS RMxprt, or similar
- Ability to learn quickly, adapt to new technologies, and respond effectively to changing conditions
