Position Summary
We are looking for an experienced Irrigation Manager to lead irrigation operations within our Property Care department. In this role, you will oversee a team of up to 10 field staff, ensuring all irrigation services are completed safely, efficiently, and to high standards. You’ll also play a key role in training, scheduling, client communication, and overall project success.
Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee all irrigation services and systems
- Lead and supervise a team of Irrigation Technicians and Laborers
- Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
- Collaborate with department leadership to support company goals
- Train team members and support employee development
- Maintain client satisfaction through consistent communication and quality service
- Enforce safety procedures and address unsafe conditions immediately
- Manage scheduling, labor planning, and resource allocation
- Communicate with vendors and subcontractors to ensure timely delivery of parts and services
- Recommend equipment purchases based on usage and condition
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in residential or commercial irrigation
- CIP (Certified Irrigation Professional) or CIT (Certified Irrigation Technician) preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Landscape Construction, Horticulture, or related field — or equivalent experience
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to read and install irrigation plans
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and able to learn field service software (e.g., Aspire)
- Flexible schedule with occasional weekend or on-call availability
- English fluency required; bilingual Spanish/English preferred
